For 1M I will change the world

I was reading an article about how Bell labs has an 'idea factory', the idea is give highly innovative critical thinkers the freedom to create, and capitalize the results. I'm familiar with this process, I've had the opportunity to be a part of it. 

Since then, I've met even more critical thinkers who have, or are, changing the world. It made me think, what would it take to assemble a team of these people and change the world? It sounds like a big number as an individual, but for a company, it is very little compared to return on investment. I challenge any organization willing to take the risk, provide me one million dollars, and within one year I will have assembled a team that can, and will, change the world.
